The solution: Use existing collateral materials as the source of information. The skinny: One of the great attractions of the World Wide Web is that it can be the great equalizer, affording small and low-budget companies and organizations the same opportunities as the multinational giants. That said, there are still creative costs for, graphics, coding and copy writing. To save costs, I gathered information from the handful of printed brochures that were available. I also used the same frames set up employed on The Networker. The presentation is simple, yet informative. And most importantly, it fit the budget. The owners of the site have made changes to every page save for the maps, but for the most part, it is as I originally created it. I do take exception to the gratuitous use of some navigation buttons, though. Gosh, Im just so picky! |
