The challenge: Help Bible-shy people understand its content.

The solution: Take the most memorable Bible stories and present them in modern English and in a thoroughly modern format.

The skinny: Now this is a challenge! I am no great Bible scholar, but I know there are great lessons to be learned if people could just understand what the authors were talking about. Even the most recent ‘contemporary’ translations can be confusing at times.

Enter The Good News Times, a modern-day newspaper’s account of biblical times. The reading is easy — no different than today’s hometown newspaper. The historicity is nearly accurate — well, someone had to be there to interview Noah as he open the door to the ark. It was an intrepid reporter for The Goods News Times!
